Prof. Marginson and colleagues published a new book

Professor Simon Marginson (University of Bristol), Aline Courtois (University of Bath), Professor Catherine Montgomery (Durham University) and Ravinder Sidhu (University of Queensland) have published the book “The Future of Cross-Border Academic Mobilities and Immobilities: Power, Knowledge and Agency” with Bloomsbury Academic.

REF-AI report published

Today, we released the REF-AI study report, which highlights the potential of generative AI (GenAI) to help the UK Higher Education sector assess research more efficiently and fairly.

Prof. Watermeyer visits the Education University of Hong Kong

Richard Watermeyer, Professor of Higher Education at the University of Bristol and CHET Co-Director, visited the Education University of Hong Kong. Prof. Watermeyer presented an overview of his research on competitive accountability and the impact of AI on academic labour.

Dr. McLaughlin new publication

Sarah MacLaughlin, Sociology and Education Lecturer at the University of Bristol and CHET Associate, has published a new book chapter: “The Value of Making Explicit Researcher Positionality When Researching Working-Class Lives”.

Simon Marginson, Professor of Higher Education at the University of Bristol and Vassiliki Papatsiba, Reader in Social Sciences – Education at the University of Cardiff, have published the book “Brexit, EU Students and UK Higher Education. Broken Bridges”(Bloomsbury Publishing Plc).
