Saba Latif

Visiting fellow, CHET

Email: sabalatif71@gmail.com

Saba Latif is a Ph.D. scholar whose research focuses on the role of higher education in breaking gender stereotypes and empowering women. Her work examines how universities and academic institutions can challenge traditional gender norms and create environments that support women’s leadership, voice, and agency. Her research critically analyses institutional policies, curricula, and leadership opportunities in Pakistani universities to identify pathways for promoting gender equity in higher education.

As part of her academic journey, she visited the University of Nebraska, USA, where she collaborated with a dynamic group of independent women. The experience enriched her cross-cultural perspective and enhanced the practical dimension of her research by highlighting successful models of empowerment in a global context.

Saba Latif also works with NGOs and educational reform groups to promote inclusive and equitable learning environments. Through her efforts, she aims to influence educational reforms and develop practical recommendations that empower women and dismantle societal stereotypes, ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and equitable academic landscape.
